Silicone Square Candy Molds are the tool half of the home gummy setup. Food-grade silicone sheets with small square cavities, flexible enough to pop finished gummies out by hand. They take agar gummies, hard candy, caramel and chocolate, and the square shape stacks and bags neatly.

What it is. A flat silicone tray with rows of small square wells. Cavity size and count vary by the sheet we ship, from mini squares up to high-count sheets in the low hundreds of cavities, so a single batch fills a lot of gummies at once. Set the sheet on a baking tray before you fill it so you can move it without spilling.

How to use it. Wipe the cavities with a drop of coconut oil or dust them lightly with tapioca starch. Boil your syrup and agar (about 1 teaspoon agar per cup of syrup, full boil for 2 minutes), take it off the heat, add extract and citric acid, then pour or pipette into the wells while the mix is still hot. Agar starts to set as it cools, so work steadily. Tap the tray on the counter to knock out bubbles, leave it at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, then flex the sheet and press the gummies out from underneath. Wash in warm soapy water or the top rack of the dishwasher.

Goes with. Organic tapioca syrup for the body and fruit syrup for the flavor, or take the whole set at once with the Home Gummy Kit. A 30 ml squeeze bottle makes for a cleaner pour. All of it sits in Accessories and DIY Supplies.

Common questions

  • Is a dropper included? No. A ladle or measuring cup with a spout works fine, or add a squeeze bottle or pipette from our packaging section if you want a cleaner fill.
  • Do these work with gelatin and pectin too? Yes. Silicone does not care what the set is. Agar, gelatin, pectin, hard candy and chocolate all release from it.

Disclaimer. Molds only. Contains no botanical material.
