Tayst Bold & Brazen is a dark roast whole bean coffee with a heavy body and a low-acid finish. It is roasted past second crack, which produces the deep, slightly smoky character the blend is named for.
Roast and Flavor
Expect dark chocolate and toasted nut notes with a long finish. Acidity is minimal, which makes this blend hold up well to milk and to longer brew methods. It pulls thick as espresso and brews strong in a French press or drip machine.
Whole Bean
Sold as whole bean so the grind can be matched to the brew method. Grind coarse for press, medium for drip, fine for espresso. Whole bean also keeps considerably longer than pre-ground coffee once the bag is opened.
Storage
Keep the bag sealed at room temperature and away from light. Avoid refrigeration, which introduces moisture. Use within a few weeks of opening for the best result.
